Tile Cleaning FAQs

Clean-Rite cleaned kitchen tile floor and grout

How often should I clean my tile, stone, and/or grout?

Just like carpet, there are many factors to consider when determining how often your tile and grout should be cleaned. The amount of foot traffic in your home, children, pets, and routine floor maintenance will affect how often you need to have your tile, stone, and grout cleaned.

Why should I have my stone, tile, and grout cleaned?

Like all surfaces in your home, dirt builds up over time and can dull your tile or stone’s appearance and discolor the grout. A thorough cleaning by Clean-Rite’s professional tile and stone cleaning technicians is the only way you can remove the deep-down dirt. Your home will sparkle and be clean and healthy for your children and pets.

Why should I have my grout lines sealed?

Grout is a porous material that absorbs soil and spills, just like carpet. Clean-Rite applies a sealant which helps create a protective barrier so dirt and spills don’t soak into the grout as quickly. You have more time to clean up your spills and dirt before the grout is stained.
